Welcome
This is a safe space for faith-based vegans. It is a place to both be loved and also challenged to grow your voice by learning from a loving faith-based vegan leader. Have you ever considered what it mean to follow Christ in the way we see, love, and live alongside all of God’s creatures or wondered how you can you have confidence in this walk? Do you struggle to reframe things in ways that others can understand? Or are you seeking to expand what is already working in your vegan journey? Walk along side of Tams Nicholson as she shares her own deeply lived expression of Christian faith—one rooted in love, mercy, nonviolence, and God’s vision of peace for all creation through faith-based veganism.
Drawing from Scripture, theology, spiritual formation, and decades of lived experience, Tams invites you to question assumptions, deepen your faith and voice, stand assured in confidence as a child of God, and discover what it can mean to follow Christ with compassion for every creature.

Rebuking the Lies of the World that Keep Us from Ethical Vegan Discipleship: Fear
What keeps us from fully living what we believe?
For Christians who feel called to extend Christ’s compassion and nonviolence to all of God’s creatures, the obstacle is not always a lack of conviction. Sometimes, it is fear.
Fear of being different. Fear of what family and friends will think. Fear of changing traditions we have known all our lives. Fear of inconvenience, rejection, ridicule, or even of asking questions whose answers may require something of us.
In this first presentation in the Rebuking the Lies of the World that Keep Us from Ethical Vegan Discipleship series, Tams Nicholson examines fear through the lens of Christian faith and ethical vegan discipleship.
Rather than allowing the assumptions and expectations of the world to determine how far we will follow our convictions, we are invited to bring our fears into the light of Christ and ask a deeper question and discovering new truths.
Let Tams empower you with her experience, wisdom, and love.
